On Wednesday University of Huddersfield welcomed local school children and community groups, along with their staff and students, to a at their Jo Cox More in Common Centre.

We were privileged to join them to celebrate the unity within their community as we talked together, created together, ate together and walked together.

"I often reflect that when terrible things happen, a lot of communities do come together. How do we tell those stories?"

Connection often begins with the simple act of making time for each other.

"I want to end on a positive note, a note of hope. For every act of division, there are hundreds of acts of connection."

Today, Members of the House of Lords came together right across the political spectrum to mark the 10th anniversary of Jo Cox MP's murder and participate in a debate on our work at The Jo Cox Foundation.

In this clip, our Chair, Baroness Jan Royall, who led the debate, looks ahead with hope to the Great Get Together weekend.
