Behind every programme is a community making it possible

Through the Soldiering On Academy; workshops for Wounded, Injured and Sick veterans are creating space for connection, confidence-building and shared experience.

Recent sessions have brought veterans together to challenge themselves, support one another and reconnect with a sense of direction, with many describing the impact as both practical and personal.

Funds raised through the Silent Auction at The Armed Forces Community Awards at Soldiering On directly support the delivery of this work, helping ensure more veterans can access these opportunities in the future.

It’s a reminder that the evening itself is just one part of something much bigger.

Starting to think differently about what comes next can start earlier than you think

Cadets in Enterprise, delivered in partnership with the Soldiering On Academy, gives young people in the Armed Forces community the opportunity to explore enterprise from an early stage.

It creates space to build confidence, develop ideas, and begin to see self-employment as something real and achievable.

Supported by our Partners, the programme brings together organisations committed to backing the next generation.

By starting these conversations earlier, it helps shape not just future careers, but the way individuals think about opportunity, resilience and independence.
