Veterans Aid recently hosted an exclusive "Thank You & Awareness" evening, gathering nearly 200 dedicated supporters at the prestigious Armoury House, home of The Honourable Artillery Company (HAC).
Reflecting on the success of the event, CEO Professor Hugh Milroy stated:
"It was a magnificent evening. We extend our deepest gratitude to our hosts, the HAC, who have generously committed to supporting us as their chosen charity for the next three years, and to the Worshipful Company of Vintners for their invaluable support which helped make the night so memorable."
The evening also served as a platform to recognise extraordinary fundraising milestones. A special tribute was paid to Mark and Janet Prior, who raised an incredible £21,672 for Veterans Aid during their tenure as captains of West Herts Golf Club.
The charity also extends its sincere thanks to the HAC Pikemen & Musketeers and the Light Cavalry, whose ceremonial presence added a unique and deeply valued dimension to the evening's proceedings.
