Thank you Daisy, for putting into words all that matters most;

Dear children of the future,
May your bare feet skip across dark earth, wriggling with worms
and sprouting seeds.
May you see underwater worlds teering with fish and crackling with coral
May you smell cities bathe in the shade of trees and crystal clear rivers flowing freely
May you hear the constant chirps and chatter of birds,
and waves resting freely on the shores.
May you taste warm strawberries bursting with juice
and clear water jumping from waterfalls.
And most importantly,
may you be free to be whoever you want to be
and live a life of love.

💬 Today, we share words and imagery from our time at London Climate Action Week, from our friends at Earthfest 2026:

“Walk gently on this Earth.”
“Your dad and I are doing everything we can to fix some of these things.”
“I hope that we have done enough in time that you are living in a safe and vibrant world.”

These were just a few of the messages that covered the giant DearTomorrow globe at
Earthtest Community Day.

Each one was part of a letter written to future generations by someone who loves them deeply.
Reading them was genuinely moving - a powerful reminder that climate action isn’t just about policies or targets, but about the people we want to protect.

Thank you to the DearTomorrow team for bringing such a beautiful, thought-provoking installation to Earthfest. It created a moment of reflection that so many of our visitors will remember. 💚

Some weeks stay with you… Last week was one of them 💚

As London Climate Action Week comes to a close, we’re feeling grateful, energised, and full of hope.

Despite the soaring temperatures, last week reminded us just how powerful it is when people come together.

During London Climate Action Week - and in the middle of a heatwave that made the climate crisis feel impossible to ignore - we had the privilege of inviting hundreds of people to pause, imagine, and write to those who will inherit the future.

🌍 At Earthfest, people of all ages stepped into our space to read letters from around the world, and add their own hopes, fears, and promises to our growing collection of letters.

Again and again, we were reminded that climate action isn’t only about policies or technologies. ❤️ It’s also about relationships, love, grief, imagination, and the stories we choose to tell. Taking a moment to write a letter to someone you love in 2050 can transform climate change from something abstract into something deeply personal.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, wrote a letter, shared a conversation, or simply took a moment to reflect with us. Your words are now part of a global archive of hope, courage, and care - proof that even in uncertain times, people continue to choose connection over despair and action over silence.

The future is shaped one story, one conversation, and one letter at a time.

After installing our DearTomorrow pop-up in 36°C heat, we were so happy to welcome visitors to the first day of Earthfest 2026 yesterday at the Aga Khan Centre during London Climate Action Week. London Climate Action Week

Day 1 “Nature & Conservation Day” brought together representatives from organisations ready to talk about our relationship with the future. As temperatures soared outside, our message felt more important than ever: if we’re going to tackle the climate crisis, we need a mindset shift at a global scale.

Through years of research, DearTomorrow has shown that one of the most powerful ways to connect hearts and minds is surprisingly simple: asking people to write a letter to someone they love in the future. These personal conversations inspire empathy, hope and, ultimately, climate action.

We loved every conversation, every letter and the incredibly warm welcome our installation received.

As temperatures continue to soar, today’s Schools Day had to be cancelled because London’s red heat alert forced schools to close -a stark reminder that climate change is no longer a distant future, but our present reality.
