The Museum of Architecture (MoA) is a charity dedicated to engage the public with architecture with inspiring events and exhibitions.

MoA also encourages entrepreneurship and collaboration in the architectural industry contributing to the community. The Museum of Architecture is a charity dedicated to stimulating growth in the architectural industry by providing resources for architects to be better entrepreneurs, creating new business opportunities and collaborations for architects, and engaging the public with our pop-up exhibitions and events to make architecture accessible to all.

Booking is officially open for our Bonsai Treehouses workshop programme. 🌳✨

Three brand new ways to get hands-on this summer, whatever your age, whatever your level of bonsai expertise (zero is absolutely fine).

🛠️ Treehouse Making Workshop (8+) build a miniature treehouse for a real, living bonsai
🌿 Treehouse Garden (3+) plant, craft, and create with the whole family
🎓 Bonsai Masterclass with Peter Warren (16+) two dates only, and you’ll take home a bonsai of your very own.

Meet the architects building London’s newest summer exhibition and the trees inspiring them. 🌳

We’re welcoming .co .micro_architects and to and today we’re revealing the trees they’ll be working with.

Each practice has been paired with a bonsai by - ancient trees that will inspire entirely new structures. Hawthorn, elm, oak, Scots pine. Each one a brief in miniature.

This summer we are SO excited to be bringing a new pop-up exhibition to the heart of London’s West End.

Bonsai Treehouses opens on Oxford Square, in partnership with Connaught Village, on Thursday 4 July. We are thrilled to be working with some of the UK’s most exciting architects and designers to bring it to life as well as museum interpretation expert Paolo Cocco and bonsai specialist Peter Warren of Saruyama Bonsai.

We’re taking part in the Great Exhibition Road Festival - come and say hello!

On Sunday 7 June we’re at the V&A with a doodle-along panel: what would a Crystal Palace for the 21sr century look like? We’ll explore the original 1851 structure - the engineering, the politics, the scale - then invite the audience to design their own.

We are excited to be partnering with and Good Homes Alliance and host this event on Saturday 20 June.

This summer, we’re bringing Bonsai Treehouses to Connaught Village - and we need you to help us create it.

We’re inviting architects, landscape architects, engineers, and designers to create treehouses for bonsai trees as part of a new summer exhibition and workshop series, in our 20th year.
