Building resilience to disinformation requires action on several fronts.

More than 50 participants joined Thomson’s session, “After Disinformation: Lessons on Resilience from Hungary, Sudan and Uganda”, at the Athens Democracy Forum.

Aida Al-Kaisy, Marius Dragomir, Abaas Mpindi and Szilárd Teczár, moderated by Gary Mundy, explored how independent journalism, people’s ability to assess information critically, digital platform design and effective governance can work together to limit the reach and impact of disinformation.
