This Black History Month, we want to shine a light on our incredible Nottingham Community Champions and recognise the important role they play in their communities.
Our Community Champions work tirelessly to raise awareness of male cancers, build confidence around talking about health, and help ensure that trusted, accessible information reaches the people who need it most.
At the heart of their work is a simple but powerful idea: “Pass it on.” By sharing what they learn with friends, family, colleagues and wider community networks, our Champions help vital health messages travel further, encouraging more men to understand their bodies, recognise potential signs and symptoms, and feel confident seeking help when something doesn’t feel right.
We know that conversations about cancer don’t always happen easily, and that some communities continue to experience barriers to accessing health information and support. That’s why trusted voices within communities are so important.
Throughout , we’re proud to celebrate our Nottingham Community Champions, their commitment, their passion, and the difference they are making, one conversation at a time.
