Guess what we've just added to the Song Bank.... 👀

We've just dropped two wonderful songs from the world of movies and musicals that would make perfect additions to your summer repertoire lists. 🎭

The climb (Miley Cyrus) - a lovely arrangement available in unison or two parts, and with the option of a piano backing, or a fully orchestrated version like the original track! The second part is suitable for changing voices, making it really flexible for upper primary and lower secondary. https://f.mtr.cool/kgdlkdmuht

'Electricity' from Billy Elliot - this version is for 2-4 parts also including a part for changing voices. https://f.mtr.cool/qlvzrpmmqw - arriving as this much-loved show returns to London's West End!

Our new publication is here.

Being Seen, Being Heard, Feeling Connected explores the role of singing and vocal work in supporting children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing — not just in theory, but in real, meaningful ways.

Drawing on over 50 sources of evidence, practice insight and lived experience, this think piece maps what we know, what’s emerging, and where we still need to learn.

It’s not a toolkit or a final answer — it’s an invitation to explore, reflect and build understanding together.

It's in the UK and this year's theme is all about taking ACTION. The Mental Health Foundation has put together a 'wheel of ideas' for ways we can take action for our mental health. We noticed that singing fits beautifully into so many of these actions:

✨ Getting creative (they actually mention singing too!)
✨ Connecting with others
✨ Taking time to breathe and be mindful
✨ Moving your body

As the weather brightens, why not take your singing outside? 🌿 Or try one of our action songs or calming exercises to get moving, stretch, and lift your mood (you'll find lots of ideas here: https://f.mtr.cool/zqeuookkog

Whether it’s a quick singalong, joining voices with friends, or simply taking a mindful moment to breathe through a melody — it all counts.
