We have been made aware of some calls and text messages being made to tenants by individuals falsely claiming to represent a heating company. Please read this notice carefully and do not engage with these contacts.

We’re delighted to announce the launch of a major new £8.3m capital investment project to significantly improve energy efficiency in social housing properties across the North East of England and help tackle fuel poverty.

Keelman Homes will work closely with Prosper, Zenith Mechanical Services, Tyne Housing, North Star Housing Group, Livin Housing and Durham Aged Mineworkers Homes Association as part of a collaborative partnership to deliver extensive new decarbonisation measures to circa 650 homes (combined) over the next three years.

​All five social housing associations will invest over £5.5m (total) with a further £2.8m being matched-funded through the UK Government’s Warm Homes Social Housing Fund (Wave 3).

Grant funding is provided by DESNZ with Tees Valley Combined Authority being the lead partner of the TVCA Warm Homes Social Housing Fund delivered by the NEY Net Zero Hub.

The project will have far-reaching benefits and builds on a collective commitment that all residents live in warm homes. You can read more about the announcement here: https://lnkd.in/eqbV6Bkp
