Are you passionate about making your estate a better place to live? Do you have an idea for a community project? Do you want to work with your neighbours to create positive change? Then become a Community Change Maker!
As a Community Change Maker, you will play a key role in delivering HCA's new People Shaping Place project. You will support by reaching out to your neighbours to gather feedback, identifying issues that affect residents on your estate, and co-creating solutions to these issues. As part of your role, you will represent other residents, making sure that diverse voices from across the community are heard.
The change you lead can take many forms. You could:
Initiate new community programmes that improve wellbeing and make people feel more connected
Lead on improvements of public spaces
Campaign for more systematic change
These are just a few examples - we want you to bring your skills, experiences and interests to the project!
Throughout you will be supported by HCA and you will also be able to access training and development opportunities that will enable you to develop the skills and confidence to lead projects, and represent your diverse community.
