So looking forward to helping host 'A Night with Amelia Edwards' in Bolton on 19th June as a fundraiser for The Egypt Exploration Society

Following a talk about Amelia's life by EES Director Dr Carl Graves, a screening of the iconic 1982 BBC docu-drama 'For the Love of Egypt' starring Margaret Tyzack will be followed by a wine reception in the fabulous surroundings of Bolton's Egypt until 10pm 🍷😊

Join us this Friday from 3-5pm for Curator’s Corner with Halima Ibrahim, the curator of the ‘Behind the Scenes’ photography exhibition presented in collaboration with Hekayyatna.

Behind the Scenes brings together work by Egyptian artists to explore the central (yet sometimes hidden) role of Egyptian labour in archaeology and the tourism industry. Curator’s Corner gives you the unique chance to view the exhibition with Halima on hand for questions and discussion – hope to see you there!
