On Tuesday 9 June, we’ll be walking alongside thousands of others from across the legal community to raise funds for the London Legal Support Trust, a charity which support free legal advice agencies across London and the South East. These charities are a lifeline for people facing some of the most challenging moments in their lives.

We are pleased to share Maria’s story as a testament to the significance of the London Legal Walk, and the difference that we can make together.

Stories like Maria’s are why the London Legal Walk matters. Every step we take and every pound we raise helps ensure that people can access the legal advice they need, when they need it most.

🌙 Eid al-Adha Mubarak 🌙

As communities around the world celebrate Eid al-Adha, we extend our warmest wishes to all observing this special occasion.

Eid al-Adha is a time of faith, reflection, generosity, and compassion. It reminds us of the importance of service to others, supporting those in need, and strengthening the bonds that unite our diverse communities.

May this blessed festival bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to you and your loved ones, and inspire renewed commitment to understanding, dialogue, and solidarity across cultures and faiths.

We would like to invite colleagues who have experience interpreting within NHS young people’s mental health services to take part in an important research study exploring interpreters’ perspectives on interpreter-mediated work in these settings.

The study aims to better understand the challenges interpreters may face, factors that contribute to positive experiences, and recommendations for improving interpreter-mediated work with children, young people, and families within NHS mental health services. As there is currently limited research in this area, your insights and experiences would be extremely valuable.

If you have worked professionally as an interpreter in NHS mental health services supporting young people aged 5–18 and/or their families, you are eligible to participate. Participation is entirely voluntary.
