This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about social justice, community outreach, and supporting churches as they respond to local needs. The role includes partnership‑building, training, events, and helping share the amazing work happening across our communities.

What is “Standing in the Gap”?
A full day of in-person training (with free lunch!) to help church workers and volunteers stay safe, maintain healthy boundaries, and feel equipped to support guests with complex needs in ministry settings.

The day includes group discussion, real-life video case studies, and teaching from experienced practitioners. We’ll explore:
- Staying emotionally healthy & avoiding burnout
- Maintaining healthy boundaries & managing expectations
- Recognising complex needs & signposting
- Dealing with challenging behaviours & de-escalating
- Staying safe
