It matters that members of communities play their part in addressing violence against women.
This is also why White Ribbon Scotland supports people within local communities to launch their own White Ribbon Scotland Status Project. Through this we support men and women to work across their community to reach out to men and boys; educating them about what violence against women is, why they have a role to play in helping to end it and what that role is.
If you would like to start a ' Staus Project' in your community contact us through [email protected] to have a no obligation discussion about how to do that.
In the meantime, take part in surveys like this to support the work being undertaken by terrific organisations working in your area.
Last few days to take part in our community survey - we'd love your input ๐ฌ
Sexual violence affects individuals, families, and communities, and we believe meaningful change happens when a wide range of voices are heard.
By sharing your views, youโre helping us understand the issues that matter most here in Shetland, what kind of support is most needed, and how our organisation can best support survivors of sexual violence, along with driving positive behaviour change in our community.
If you have 5-10 minutes, please complete our short survey before midnight on Sunday 15th Feb 2026 and help guide the future of our work:

Everyone is welcome to complete the survey, regardless of personal experience, and thereโs no expectation for you to share any personal details or anything that feels difficult.
