You will be able to nominate yourself for Glasgow chapter’s committee roles if the role is subject to vacancy.
Glasgow chapter’s committee roles include that of the Wardrobe Officer, Events Officer, Social Media Office, Fundraising Officer, Recruitment Officer and Training Officer. It is estimated that each committee role would have to commit to an average of 4 hours per week.
Timelines:
You will be able to nominate yourself for any interested role until Wednesday, 25th March 2026 as nominations will close on this day. Nominations are open to anyone and should be submitted using this form: https://forms.office.com/r/YzLR2HHJKA
After 25th March, the committee will vote to judge your suitability for the role you’ve opted for. Each role is dear to every committee member’s heart and it is expected to take some time before the decision is released.
However, you’d be expected to shadow for the role you’ve succeeded in till 12th of June, after which you will officially take over and carry out all the responsibilities.
*Candidates for the role of Glasgow Chapter’s President will be invited for an interview with Trustees. Before you nominate yourself for the role of president please note that it is not a 1 year role and is on-going.
It is important to note that MAS is reducing the number of committee roles & is dissolving them. The chapter will no longer have a Vice President (responsibility taken over by Secretary), Treasurer (duties taken over by Fundraising officer) and Wellbeing Officer (also taken by the Secretary).
