Plot twist: your baby has plenty to say… they’re just not using words yet!

That's why on 24 August we're starting the next block of Makaton signing for parents/carers and babies 0-18 months old.

Over six weeks, Katy Lironi at Down's Syndrome Scotland, our Makaton tutor, will introduce songs, stories, rhymes, early communication tips and oral motor exercises.

The topics covered include:
👋saying hello
🥘eating and drinking
🏞️ going places
🛝 play time
❓asking for help
🦻listen carefully

So, if you've already discovered that your baby has plenty strong opinions just waiting to be expressed, don't miss this opportunity and sign up today: https://zurl.co/zGBh9

Calling all Women with Down's syndrome!

We’re working with women with Down's syndrome to create a programme that helps women feel safer and more confident in everyday life - including recognising unsafe situations, setting boundaries, and knowing where to get help.

Can you help us by joining ONE of the following workshops:

- Saturday 22 August - in-person in Edinburgh or Glasgow
- Thursday 27 August - online
- Saturday 29 August - in-person in Edinburgh or Glasgow

During those workshops we will sensitively explore the topic: Safer Spaces, Stronger Voices.
