20,000 People access QMUNITY’s services each year for help, connection, and care 💖

A small team of volunteers, casual staff, and fewer than 20 full-time staff show up for every single one. Our new home will help us better support the people who need us most.

A dream four decades in the making is becoming a reality. It will allow us to expand programming and reduce wait times. 🏢

Our q***r elders fought for us to have the rights we have today.

In 1987, homos*xuality between consenting adults was decriminalized in Canada.

Because our elders organized.

In 1995, s*xual orientation became constitutionally protected.

Because our elders protested.

And in 2005, same s*x marriage was legalized in Canada.

Because our elders didn’t stop fighting.

Now it’s our turn. Let’s honour the legacy they built by building something for the next generation–a permanent, purpose-built 2SLGBTQIA+ resource centre.

A place where youth can feel at home when their homes aren’t safe.

A place where q***r seniors, after decades of advocacy, can finally relax.

A place where we can dream of an even brighter future.

QMUNITY wants to hear from Indigenous community members.
Help us shape the future of Indigenous programming at QMUNITY.
This 2-minute survey is an opportunity for you to let us know your thoughts!

The survey will be active from July 7th until August 4th, and a focus group will be held on August 10th at 12-1 pm. There may also be direct follow-up to schedule interviews as needed.
