Unlike traditional long-term care, our Home for Us model is built around choice, independence, and familiar daily routines. It means having the freedom to make a cup of tea or cook a meal when you want. Because something as simple as access to your own kitchen can make all the difference in feeling comfortable, confident, and at home.

Because of St. Paul’s Hospital, Tess and John have a story to share—one rooted in compassion, resilience, and care. 💙

Their journey is a powerful reminder of the difference thoughtful, life-changing care can make—not just for patients, but for the people who love them.

If you’re grateful for the care you or a loved one received, this is your moment to give thanks and give back. Your support helps ensure that same care is there for others when they need it most.

We’re grateful to share that the Conconi Family Foundation has made a transformative $2 million gift to St. Paul’s Foundation—advancing a new vision for publicly funded long‑term care through Providence Living’s Home for Us model of care.

At Providence Living at the Views, Home for Us is redefining what long‑term care can be—centred on choice, dignity, and connection, where residents shape their daily lives and feel truly at home.

This gift supports both implementation and scale:
✅$1.25M to embed Home for Us into daily care through key roles that strengthen belonging and sustainable change
✅$750K to support UBC‑led research that will generate the evidence needed to expand this model across BC

💙 Thank you to the Conconi Family Foundation for your leadership and lasting commitment to seniors’ care.

Today, there’s an opportunity for you to be part of this change. The Conconi Family Foundation is matching all gifts to St. Paul’s Foundation up to $1.5 million.

Together, we can help all British Columbians in long‑term care feel known, loved, and at home. Donate and double your impact here: bit.ly/3OgsPKU.

Momentum is building at the Jim Pattison Medical Campus, bringing us closer to a new era of care and research in Vancouver.

Earlier this year, the Government of Canada has backed Providence Health Care's bold vision for the new St. Paul’s Hospital with a $48 million investment in its adjoining research and innovation tower on the Jim Pattison Medical Campus.

During a recent visit, Premier David Eby saw firsthand how far the new St. Paul’s Hospital on the Jim Pattison Medical Campus has come—from early construction to final finishes, furniture, and equipment now being installed throughout the building.

“It’s remarkable what you have accomplished here—turning a former railway site into a world‑leading health care and research campus,” said Premier Eby.

With elevators running and interior spaces nearing completion, the new St. Paul’s Hospital on the Jim Pattison Medical Campus remains on track to open to patients in early 2027.
