A transformational gift for Digestive Health care in BC!

Known philanthropists and longtime St. Paul’s Foundation supporters, George and Sylvia Melville’s generous $10 million gift will help more patients and families across British Columbia heal better through improved access to specialized digestive health care.

Inspired by their granddaughter Mikaela’s treatment and recovery at St. Paul’s Hospital, their generosity will help support BC’s new Digestive Health Centre (DHC) located on the new Jim Pattison Medical Campus, consolidating digestive health care services in a single hub that will deliver a more seamless care experience.

“It was difficult to watch our granddaughter struggling, and we know the new Digestive Health Centre will help many more patients who need top tier care — both in Metro Vancouver and across the province.”

🌽☀️ What a wonderful day at our Providence Living Society summer farmers market day!

Residents, families, friends, and community members came together to enjoy local vendors, fresh finds, and plenty of smiles. It was heartwarming to see everyone connecting, supporting local businesses, and making summer memories together.
