Mole Hill Community Housing Society Mole Hill is a heritage housing community in the heart of the West End.

It sits in the block framed by Thurlow, Pendrell, Bute, and Comox Streets, two blocks north of Davie Street and one block west of Burrard. Mole Hill is governed by the Mole Hill Community Housing Society, which was founded in 1999. The first house of Mole Hill was built in 1888, just two years after the City of Vancouver was founded.

Putting the finishing touches to the latest exhibit at the Mole Gallery. It is a joint show with Vancouver artists Marta Pan and Robert J. Carter. Our very good friends at the Heart Transplant Homes Society are having their fourth annual fund-raising auction. HTHS is a registered charitable society in Vancouver who provide temporary accommodation at Mole Hill for heart transplant and ventricular assist device (VAD) recipients from outside metro Vancouver. There are tons of fantastic items to bid on - accommodation, entertainment, fine dining and more. The online auction starts of September 20th and runs for ten days. Please help support this important organisation.

We have another great Art event this Friday evening, 12th September. Join us for "Hello Digital Sunshine", a brand new exhibit by Vancouver artist Feris Majed. These artworks involve costuming, makeup and digital editing to create a ten-image narrative that moves from surreal color to stark black-and-white minimalism. There is an opening reception on Friday, from 6pm-8pm. Everybody is welcome! There will be two additional viewings scheduled for September 20th and 27th, from noon-4pm.

Hey, we've got a great new exhibit opening at THE MOLE - our pop-up art gallery Our artist is Lora Szostak, a Mole Hill resident making her debut in the gallery. These artworks celebrate colour, music and appropriately for us, old Vancouver architecture. The opening party is Friday 22nd August 6-8pm. Lora already sold 3 artworks before she finished hanging them because a gang of seniors were having coffee in the gallery and ended up fighting over the best ones! Join us for art, drinks, nibbles and more!
