Today at 1pm the Provincial Energy Minister Adrian Dix will be meeting the media at the Dal Grauer Substation (944 Burrard Street), presumably to try to shore up support for the new substation, which will decimate Nelson Park for at least a generation. The new substation is not yet approved by the BC Utilities Commission, who have received over a thousand negative responses from the West End community.

Here is Lora Szostak working on her exhibition which opens tomorrow (Friday) 4th September at the Mole Gallery. Lora's exhibition is historical paintings of Vancouver in it's glory days. The opening party is from 6-8pm, refreshments included. See you there!

Come to the Mole Gallery this Friday for the opening reception of a great new exhibition of paintings by Lora Szostak. These paintings are renderings of historical scenes of Vancouver vistas and buildings in their prime, plus many not so well known scenes from Vancouver days of yore. The exhibition runs every Friday and Saturday in September with an opening night party on Friday 4th September from 6pm to 8pm. Refreshments will be served!
