As you may know, the Abbey of the Long Cedar Canoe will be hosting an international conclave during Vancouver Pride next summer, and we’re expecting Sisters from near and far to join us!
Unfortunately, summer accommodation in Vancouver can be fiercely expensive. That’s where our fabulous community comes in! Do you have a spare room? A little extra space for someone who could use a place to stay? Perhaps you’d like to add a touch more fabulousity to your home?
If so, please consider volunteering to host a visiting Sister during our conclave! Not only will you be helping make this gathering possible, but you’ll also be warmly welcomed to join us at our conclave events and have the opportunity to make some fabulous new Sister friends along the way!
The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are entirely volunteer-run. Every Sister travels and manifests at their own expense, with no travel fund to draw from and no organizational budget for travel costs. We believe the funds we raise should go wherever they’re needed most: to the organizations, communities, and individuals doing important work in our world. By helping a visiting Sister with accommodation, you’ll be making a real difference and helping us keep our resources focused on the causes we serve.
