Rainbow Toastmasters Toronto At Rainbow Toastmasters LGBT2S individuals learn to improve speaking skills and leadership abilities At Rainbow Toastmasters, LGBT and allies are welcome.

Rainbow Toastmasters is a gathering of friends; a safe and supportive place for personal development and skills improvement. Rainbow Toastmasters is a member of Toastmasters International, which is an international non-profit educational organization where members at all levels learn how to communicate more effectively. Through local clubs such as Rainbow Toastmasters, Toastmasters International helps sharpen members’ speaking, listening and thinking skills. Toastmasters appeals to those people who fear or wish to improve their speaking in any public or high-stress situation. The skills you learn foster better understanding, enhance your leadership potential and can help you become a leader in your community. If you’re interested in improving your communication and leadership skills, our club is for you. TIME & PLACE:
Meetings are Monday nights at 7 PM. (arrive 10 - 15 minutes early to chat). We meet at St. Andrew's United Church 117 Bloor East (near Church St.) Also accessible from 54 Hayden Street. We meet every week with the exception of statutory holidays (including, of course, when our favourite holiday Hallowe'en falls on a Monday!) Street parking on Church Street near Hayden.

We had 13 attendees at our Toastmasters meeting — an evening that certainly kept everyone considering the time of their lives.
Shane did a fantastic job serving as Toastmaster and leading the meeting with the subject Timed speaking about how many elements of our lives are timed including our length on earth🧘‍♂️✨

Hosted by Brian, giving members plenty of opportunities to stretch their improvisational skills and take the conversation in some unexpected directions.
🏆 Awards:
The Table Topics Award went to Tristan for his description of “The best of Times” where he affirmed we’re living that time right now — congratulations! 🎉.
The Grammarian Award went to Naida for her memorable delivery in her prepared speech tonight — congratulations! 🎉

After the meeting 11 of us went out to the nearby Bishop and Belcher for some social time as we do each first meeting of every month.
🏅 Next Meeting: Monday, October 19 — Naida will be Toastmaster and Akeylah and Prakhyaat will deliver prepared speeches. We still have a few roles needing to be filled. Come out to enjoy a new night of Toastmaster activity. 🎤🏆
