The future of Canadian entrepreneurship is being built by founders with the ambition to think bigger, move faster, and build companies that matter.

At NEXT Canada, we’re proud to have supported these founders through NEXT 36, NEXT AI, and NEXT Founders. They’re tackling meaningful problems, creating new opportunities, and putting Canadian innovation on the global map across a variety of industries and stages.

Our 2026 Venture Booklet celebrates these founders as they continue to build what’s next for Canada and beyond.

What’s the difference between NEXT 36 and NEXT AI? 🤔

Both programs are designed to help ambitious entrepreneurs turn big ideas into high-impact ventures, but they’re built for different stages and different needs.

🚀 NEXT 36 is for students and recent graduates with an entrepreneurial mindset. Whether you’re starting with an idea or already building an early-stage venture, the eight-month program teaches you the core skills necessary to build any business from the ground up while supplementing that learning with tailored guidance from mentors, industry professionals and other founders.

🤖 NEXT AI is for early-stage entrepreneurs building AI-enabled solutions to solve global challenges. It builds upon the Next 36 experience by including dedicated workshops and lectures from leading AI professors and industry professionals in addition to a dedicated scientist in residence.  The program combines world-class business education with all the resources you need to accelerate the commercialization of your AI enabled business.

Different paths. Shared ambition: building Canada’s next generation of high-impact entrepreneurs. 🇨🇦
