Achēv’s EVolveSkills Program, supported by Plug’n Drive, is designed to support the transition to electric mobility across Canada.

This program is available in Ontario, British Columbia and Nova Scotia to upskill auto service and repair technicians and help small and medium-sized automotive service businesses remain competitive.

Through this program —
- Technicians can gain practical skills to service and repair EVs safely and effectively.
- Auto Repair Shops can upskill the workforce to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Aspiring Professionals can access free, entry-level courses to explore high-demand careers in EV manufacturing and automotive technology.

📆 One more week until the Mobile EV Education Trailer (MEET) in Windsor starts!

MEET attendees can test drive EVs for free from a lineup of EVs from leading automakers.

Plug’n Drive EV Ambassadors will be on-site from October 15 – November 15, 10:00 am - 5:00pm, to give attendees a practical, approachable way to learn about electric vehicles in a sales-free environment.

Three days until the Mobile EV Education Trailer opens in Richmond.

October 8 to November 8 at IKEA Richmond, 3320 Jacombs Rd. Unit 1. Test drives run Thursday to Sunday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, so there are four days a week to get behind the wheel of an EV.

Eight models are on site, from the Nissan LEAF and Hyundai IONIQ 5 to the Chevrolet Silverado EV. Our EV Ambassadors will talk you through range, home and public charging, and the incentives that apply in British Columbia.

Walk-ins are welcome, but booked appointments get priority. Drivers must be at least 21 with a valid licence, and children nine and older can ride along with a parent or guardian.
