1.

Represent and inform young adults all over the world of God’s everlasting covenant and redemptive purposes for the nation of Israel.
2. Be part of what God is doing and engage our roles as young adults in this unique time in history.
3. Enable young adults to be practically involved through energetic programs and events, sponsored by the ICEJ both here and abroad. By God’s grace, we have been grafted into the “olive tree” and now it's time for us to stand with the “root” - God’s chosen people, the nation of Israel.

ICEJ Canada Stands in Solidarity With Belleville Jewish Community After Yom Kippur Shooting Outside Synagogue

Our hearts at ICEJ Canada go out to the Jewish community amid an increasingly dangerous environment for Jewish Canadians.

The London Jewish community has expressed through many media reports, being “horrified” and “grieved” over the brazen shooting
outside the historic Sons of Jacob Synagogue in Belleville, Ontario, founded since 1905. It happened as

According to reports: as services began to solemnly observe the holiest day of the Jewish calendar, Yom Kippur, the suspect
Sean Ward allegedly opened fire on Constable Jeff Smith of Belleville Police Service. He was shot at several times and
remains in hospital in critical but stable condition. We pray for his full recovery.

ICEJ-Canada continues to stand in solidarity with the Jewish community with great concern over rising antisemitism in Canada.
We urge our politicians to join in the fight against this ancient scourge.

On Yom HaShoah, we remember the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust, and the many brave Jews who rose up to resist the evil N**i regime. We also honor the legacy and courage of those who survived.

May we never forget. May we never be silent. 🕯️
