Good food, great company, and a little creativity in the kitchen!

Whether you’re looking to learn new skills, try delicious recipes, or simply enjoy a fun, hands-on experience, our Adult & Senior Cooking Classes have something for everyone!

🥘 SENIOR COOKING

* Wednesdays | 10:00–11:30 AM & 12:30–2:00 PM
* Thursdays | 11:00 AM–12:30 PM

🍝 ADULT COOKING

* Wednesdays | 6:30–8:00 PM

From preparing delicious dishes to sharing laughs and connecting with others, it’s about so much more than cooking!

🍂 Thanksgiving Monday at Beaches Sandbox!

A little change to our schedule this long weekend!

Beaches Sandbox will be closed on Monday, October 12th, but Sandbox Flow will be keeping the movement going from 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM. 🧘‍♀️

Please note that all other Monday programs will not be running.

Wishing our wonderful community a cozy, restful Thanksgiving weekend filled with gratitude, connection, and a little time for yourself. 🤎🍁

What an incredible evening 💙🌊

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last Thursday at Beaches Sandbox in support of Ingrid Wells and her 777 Great World Race mission.

We were so grateful to see the community come together, hear Ingrid share her story and support a cause that means so much. From the conversations in the room to the generosity shown through donations and the silent auction, it was such a successful and meaningful night.

We are so happy for Ingrid and incredibly excited to watch her take on the Great World Race this November, running 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days. 🌎🏃‍♀️

Thank you to everyone who came out, donated, contributed a silent auction item and helped make the evening so special.

We cannot wait to cheer Ingrid on every step of the way. 💙

🍓 Calling all little chefs! 👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳

Our Kids Cooking Classes are the perfect chance for kids to get hands-on in the kitchen, learn new skills, try new foods and have a whole lot of fun while they’re at it!

We still have spots available in both of our weekly classes:

✨ Tuesdays | 4–5 PM
✨ Saturdays | 12–1 PM

Small classes with just 10 spots means lots of hands-on time, learning and confidence-building in the kitchen. 🥣🍪

Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we take time to listen, learn and reflect.

We honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities, and the generations who continue to carry the impacts of these systems.

Reconciliation is not something that belongs to one day. It asks us to keep learning, to listen to Indigenous voices and stories, to acknowledge the truths of our shared history, and to consider how we can be part of meaningful change.

Today and every day, we honour the strength, resilience, cultures and contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples. 🧡

Join Chef Ava on October 8 for a hands-on workshop where you’ll make turkey breast, creamy garlic mashed potatoes, herb and sausage stuffing, and cranberry orange sauce. Pick up tips to make holiday cooking easier, then take home the recipes.

A huge thank you to our incredibly generous community partners, COBS Bread – The Beach and McLean Meats, for donating fresh bread, turkey and pork cervelat to our Club Sandwich JR program!

Our crew got busy assembling sandwiches to help support our community — learning firsthand how simple acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference.
