🚨OPEN CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS 🚨

Dear friends,

Winter is upon us, and it is time to make our next seasonal arts and culture magazine.

Of course, to make a magazine, we would love to collaborate with YOU.

Please share your poems, stories, illustrations, photos, and anything else we can print.

Our magazine is a reflection of our vibrant multicultural community from Kensington to Queen West.

We love our community, and would love to provide a consistent platform to share our stories and highlight some of the wonderful people and events that we all collectively host.

The theme of Issue 2 is NESTING/HIBERNATION.

*DEADLINE: December 15th*

For long-form written submissions, aim for something between 500 and 1500 words.
For poetry, feel free to send a PDF version if you have a certain layout in mind.
For visual art, lossless image formats like PNG and PDF are preferred. Minimum 300 DPI.

The first issue of DAC's quarterly magazine is upon us. We have a selection of photography, illustrations, writing and poetry from over 40 members of our diverse and talented community.

We’ve got two more weeks to gather up all our submissions of our first quarterly arts and culture magazine! Tell your friends, set reminders, let's GO.

The theme of issue 1 is β€œNoise”. Send along your writing, your illustrations, your photography. Anything and everything we can print in a magazine. For visual art, think of β€œnoisy” or β€œloud” art, things that are busy. Or perhaps, the absence of noise. A void.
