May 15 Kurdish Language Day was celebrated in Toronto with great enthusiasm and strong community participation. The event highlighted the importance of protecting and passing the Kurdish language on to future generations. Messages of unity, culture, and identity were shared throughout the celebration.

Language is the memory, identity, and voice of a people.
