Supporting Cast Canada(formerly PAL Canada Foundation) is a national charitable organization dedicated to supporting senior artists, performers, and creative professionals across Canada. For nearly 40 years, beginning with Performing Arts Lodges Canada, which transformed to PAL Canada Foundation in 2008, we have helped members of Canada's arts and entertainment community stay connected, engaged, a

nd supported through programs that reduce isolation, foster well-being, encourage lifelong creativity, and celebrate artistic contributions. Through virtual and in-person initiatives including The Artwell, Game Days, Book PALs, Tea-Time, Check-In and Chat, Cyberizing Seniors, Canada Stories, and intergenerational mentorship programs, we create spaces where creatives connect and belong. Rooted in our enduring belief of "No Creative Senior Stands Alone," Supporting Cast Canada honours the legacy of those who have enriched Canada's cultural landscape while helping build a stronger, more connected future for creative seniors across the country.

Welcome to The Artwell. A vibrant new creative space where artists, storytellers, musicians, and the community come together to connect, create, and belong.

Located at 1000 Yonge Street at Belmont St. in Toronto, The Artwell showcases the work of talented artists while helping to support the mission of Supporting Cast Canada.

Unlike many traditional galleries, artists exhibiting at The Artwell keep 85% of all sales, with just 15% supporting Supporting Cast Canada’s programs and operations for senior and disadvantaged artists across the country.

The Artwell is open on select weekends and may also be visited by appointment during the week by emailing [email protected] or leaving a message at 416-203-3051.
