What if stroke rehabilitation research could happen right where care is delivered?

Heart & Stroke-funded researcher Dr. Dorothy Kessler is helping explore how embedding research into rehabilitation settings can strengthen the connection between evidence and care and help advance stroke recovery.

Carolyn was shocked when her sister Sharon called with news of a heart condition.

From the moment a heart stops beating, starting CPR and using an AED as soon as one is available can double a person's chance of survival. We're connecting with educators across Canada to share how CardiacCrash makes it easy to bring free CPR and AED education into the classroom. Together, we can empower more students with the skills and confidence to respond when a cardiac arrest occurs.

A special thank you to Desjardins Group for supporting youth CPR preparedness and helping us reach more educators and students across Canada.
