PLAQUE FRIDAY EP. 39 - SITE OF TORONTO’S FIRST MOVING PICTURE SHOW 🎥

Before TIFF, before Cineplex, before arguing over movie trailers… Toronto’s first moving picture show happened right here in 1896.

The films were less than a minute long, the tickets cost a dime, and the audiences were completely mesmerized.
