Don’t miss Dawn Jani Birley in the world premiere of To a Flame, co-produced by 1s1 Theatre and Nightwood Theatre this fall.

To a Flame is an explosive theatrical feast of image and language that pulls the audience deep into a Victorian Gothic Horror.

This groundbreaking new work intertwines ASL and English with vibrant movement and live music into a haunting, multi-sensory performance that brings Deaf and hearing audiences into a shared theatrical experience through its bilingual artistic design. The ensemble cast features Deaf performer Dawn Jani Birley, with Nickeshia Garrick, and Juliana Monk, accompanied by cellist Beth Silver.

I asked you to save the date: October 3, 2026 for the Pink Arrows Walk/Run fundraising event.

Please join us and help make this happen again!

The retreat was a huge success, bringing Deaf women affected by breast cancer together at Deaf Culture Retreat Centre in New Brunswick.

Now we are fundraising to make another retreat possible!

The Pink Arrows Walk/Run will take place in different locations across Canada. You can create your own team, join a team or participate on your own. Each location has different information so please stay tuned for updates.

More locations will be announced soon. If you wish to be a team captain for a location not mentioned on the list, please feel free to sign up as a fundraiser! It’s easy.
