Be Seen This Fall

As the days get shorter, make sure you’re visible when you’re out riding.

Use a front white light and rear red light
Wear bright or reflective clothing
Check that your lights are charged before every ride
Be extra cautious during dawn, dusk, and low-light conditions
Give yourself plenty of time and space to be seen by other road users

Ride bright. Ride safe. Be seen.

Looking back on a great day on the trail!

We had a wonderful time bringing Islanders together for our Seniors Trail Ride in St. Peter’s Bay.

It was a great day of cycling, conversation, and enjoying the Confederation Trail with a fantastic group of riders. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the ride such a success!

We’re looking forward to offering more trail rides next year and getting even more people out riding together.

Kudos to Peggy and Ariadne for taking part in our adult learn-to-ride session yesterday in collaborations with PEI and the PEI Active Transportation Education Coalition's Amir Zuccolo. It was so rewarding to see them learn to balance on two wheels and take their first pedal strokes, proving that it is never too late to learn to ride a bike!

Thanks as well to Danny MacQueen of MacQueen's bike shop for opening specially for us to provide the bikes and helmets!
