Athletes entering Grade 10, 11, or 12 this Fall — if you’re looking to put in quality work before the PEISAA season gets rolling, this camp is for you! 💪

This is a great opportunity to sharpen your skills, build confidence, and gain momentum heading into the Fall volleyball season.

Meet our Summer Team! ☀️🏐

We’re excited to introduce the final member of our 2026 Summer Program Coordinators roster: Emma Visser!

Emma is an Island-grown athlete who came through VPEI's provincial team pathway before continuing on at the post-secondary level. She now competes within the ACAA with Crandall University.

This summer, Emma will be helping lead and support our growing lineup of programs, camps, leagues, and athlete development opportunities across the Island.

We’re excited to have another Island athlete bringing her experience back to the local volleyball community and helping inspire the next wave of PEI athletes.

Thank You, Cheryl! 💚🏐

After 22 years with Volleyball PEI, Cheryl Crozier is stepping down from her role as Executive Director.

Since joining Volleyball PEI in 2004, Cheryl has helped guide the organization through an incredible period of growth, connection, and community impact. Over her tenure, she has worked alongside 5 Board Presidents, supported an estimated 7,500+ athletes, helped impact over 450+ coaches and been part of 6 Canada Summer Games cycles.

From hosting the Volleyball Canada ED/TD meetings during an epic snowstorm in 2012, to welcoming and hosting FIVB World League and Volleyball Canada AGM in 2015, Cheryl has been at the heart of so many major moments for volleyball on the Island.

Beyond the numbers and milestones, Cheryl’s greatest impact has been felt through the people. The athletes, coaches, volunteers, board members, staff, officials, and volleyball leaders she has worked with across PEI and Canada.

On behalf of the current Volleyball PEI Board, and the greater PEI volleyball community, thank you Cheryl for 22 years of commitment, leadership, and dedication to growing the sport in PEI.

Meet our Summer Team! ☀️🏐

We’re excited to introduce the next member of our 2026 Summer Program Coordinators roster: JC Juatco!

JC hails from BC and brings extensive experience in grassroots volleyball programming. Before travelling to the Island to at UPEI, JC worked heavily with the Ducks Volleyball Club.

This summer, JC will be helping lead and support our growing lineup of programs, camps, leagues, and athlete development opportunities across the Island.

We’re excited to have her energy, experience, and passion for grassroots development joining the VPEI summer team.

14/16U Boys Beach: Tour + Provincials! 🏐☀️

The 2026 Beach Tour is set for the 14/16U Boys division, with two Tour Stops leading into the Beach Provincial Championships on August 30th 🏆

These Tour Stops are a great chance for athletes to get competitive beach reps, keep building confidence in the sand, and sharpen their partnership ahead of Provincials.

Tour Stops:
📍 Terry Fox Complex, Cornwall
✅ Stop #1 – July 25th
✅ Stop #2 – August 15th

Provincials:
📍 Terry Fox Complex, Cornwall
🏆 Sunday, August 30th

Reminder: Teams must compete in at least 1 Beach Tour stop to be eligible for Provincials.

Because of such strong interest in Wave 1 [which is already nearly at capacity!], we’re excited to open up Wave 2 for athletes looking for more skill-focused training this summer! 🙌

This 4-week program is designed for athletes entering Grades 7, 8, and 9 this fall who want to build confidence, get quality reps, and sharpen the key areas of their game through focused, instruction-based sessions.

Each week will spotlight a different core skill:

✅ Serve & Serve Reception
✅ Attacking
✅ Setting
✅ Defense

If your athlete is looking for extra touches, coaching feedback, and a great development opportunity in a structured training environment, this is a great fit. 👊 ... and yes, if you're already signed up for Wave 1 but want even MORE touches, you are able to sign up for Wave 2 too!

Calling all 12-14 year olds, are you ready to level up your beach IQ? 🤯

Skills & Drills: Beach Edition is a perfect next step for athletes who have enjoyed SMASHBALL in previous years or are starting to fall in love with the beach game and want a little more technical training behind their touches.

This program is designed for athletes who want to build confidence, sharpen fundamentals, and learn more of the “why” behind beach volleyball. Think proper movements in the sand for each respective skill, how to most effectively play through weather-related factors, and all the little details that help athletes feel more comfortable in the sand!

Whether you’re new to beach or looking to add more structure to your summer reps, this is a great chance to train, learn, and grow in a fun environment.

Philip is a current member of our provincial team pathway, representing the Island in both indoor and beach. On the court, Philip runs the show as a setter and in the sand, he gets to dabble in a bit of everything on the RS.

This summer, Philip will be helping support and lead our growing lineup of programs, camps, leagues, and athlete development opportunities across PEI.
