Submissions Now Open for Music PEI’s Artist Development Programs!

Music PEI is now accepting applications for two of our flagship artist development opportunities: the Golden Ticket Program: Presented by Rising Tide Community Fund and the TD Diverse Voices Program. These initiatives are designed to support emerging artists who have already begun building their careers and are ready to take the next step in professional recording and releasing a single.

**Applications will be open from August 13, 2026 to September 13, 2026.**

The Golden Ticket Program: Presented by Rising Tide Community Fund, supports three emerging PEI artists in recording and releasing a single. Along the way, participants learn key business skills for a successful release, including registering with PROs (Performing Rights Organizations) and other essential industry practices.

The TD Diverse Voices Program supports two PEI artists each year from historically excluded or underrepresented communities. Participants will record and release a single while learning essential business skills, including registering with PROs (Performing Rights Organizations) and navigating best practices for a professional release under the mentorship of Katrina Lopes of KL Management.

This year, all of our incredibly talented PEI artists are encouraged to submit and be part of another amazing celebration of Island music.

Submissions Open: Monday, August 10
Deadline: Monday, October 12 at 11:59 PM (AT)
Submission Fee: $20 per award
Music PEI Members submit FREE*

*Must hold a valid Band, Artist, Industry, or Corporate Membership to qualify for free submissions.

🎶 We’re Hiring! Music PEI is looking for two Assistant Event Coordinators to join our team and help bring Music PEI Week 2027 to life!

This 27-week paid contract is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the music and events industry. You’ll support the planning and delivery of Music PEI Week, working on event logistics, artist coordination, marketing, sponsor care, and more—while gaining valuable experience behind the scenes of one of PEI’s biggest celebrations of our music industry.
We’re looking for organized, detail-oriented folks who love music, are comfortable with email and Google Workspace, and are interested in learning more in the music or events industry.

📍 Based in Charlottetown (in-office)
🗓 Contract: September 8, 2026 – March 18, 2027
💰 $650/week for 37.5 hours/week
📩 Deadline to apply: August 5th
💼 Must meet the eligibility requirements for the Work Experience PEI Program
