PEI Environmental Network

PEI Environmental Network The Prince Edward Island Environmental Network (Eco-Net, PEIEN) is a not-for-profit, non-governmental network of groups working to improve the environment.

The PEI Eco-Net is non-advocacy and thus does not take stands on particular issues. Instead, the Eco-Net helps each member group satisfy its mandate through the sharing of information and through provision of administrative and technical support. The PEI Eco-Net is affiliated with ten other Environmental Networks, as well as national organizations such as the Sierra Club of Canada. The groups all come together under the umbrella of the Canadian Environmental Network (CEN) based in Ottawa.
