Join us on July 8 at 9:00 a.m. at CAPEI’s Training Centre (40 Enman Crescent, Charlottetown) to learn more about Discover Carpentry, with a new intake beginning August 3, 2026.

Designed for individuals aged 18 to 45, this paid training program offers hands-on carpentry experience, industry certifications, work experience opportunities, and a direct pathway into the construction industry.

📢 As we enter the final week of school, we want to remind PEI students that applications are open for the J. Francis Reid Memorial Bursary until July 31, 2026!

Presented at the 2026 CAPEI Annual Gala, this bursary honours the legacy of J. Francis Reid and his lasting contributions to Prince Edward Island’s construction industry.

Funded jointly by the Francis Reid Family and CAPEI, four $500 bursaries are awarded annually to support students pursuing careers in construction.

The bursary can help offset education-related costs including tuition, training, tools, PPE, apprenticeships, and more.

✅ Open to graduating PEI high school students entering a construction-related post-secondary program, apprenticeship, or full-time construction employment.

📅 Application deadline: July 31, 2026
