We were delighted to take part in the Tai Chi and Traditional Chinese Dance performances at the Public Service and Cultural Diversity Celebration today.☯️

It was a wonderful opportunity to share Chinese culture, connect with people from different backgrounds, and celebrate the diversity that makes PEI such a welcoming community.🌸

We are thrilled to celebrate Canada Day with our premier traditional Dragon Dance performance, showcasing the beauty of Chinese culture and bringing communities together to build a stronger and more united Canada. 🇨🇦🐉

We're excited to celebrate with the community on Wednesday, July 1, from 1:30 - 4:00 p.m. at Tea Hill Park.

❤️Our Dragon Boat Festival Celebration Zongzi making workshop was a tremendous success!

More than 100 community members came together to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival, share traditions, build friendships, and experience the richness of Chinese culture.😃

A special thank you to Philip Brown and representatives from the PEI Office of Immigration, Teresa Tu, and Farah for their continued support of newcomer communities, cultural diversity, and community engagement across Prince Edward Island.💚🤗

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our sister organization, Filipino Canadian Association of Prince Edward Island. Special thanks to Billy, President of FCAP, and Alfredo, Vice President of FCAP, for joining us in celebrating this special occasion. Filipino Canadian Association of PEITheir presence reflects the strong partnership and friendship among PEI’s multicultural communities.♥️♥️♥️

Participants enjoyed a variety of cultural experiences, including a Zongzi Making Workshop, traditional zongzi tasting, cultural displays, and opportunities to learn about the history and traditions of the Dragon Boat Festival. The event was filled with laughter, learning, cultural exchange, and community spirit.👍

This celebration brought together newcomers, students, local residents, families, and friends to connect, learn from one another, and celebrate the values of diversity, inclusion, and community.😃

A heartfelt thank you to all volunteers, performers, partners, and participants who helped make this event possible. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected, and more inclusive Prince Edward Island while sharing the beauty of Chinese culture.☺️
