Why do we host Ride?
Yes, we love the energy of Ride day. The bikes, the laughter, the cheering, the community coming together. We love seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones. We love watching people show up for Blooming House in so many different ways.
But Ride is about something deeper.
It’s about shelter — knowing there is a safe place to turn to.
It’s about community — reminding women experiencing homelessness that they are not alone.
It’s about support — helping remove the barriers that can stand between someone and a safer, more stable future.
It’s about impact — every registration, donation, volunteer hour and act of kindness helping create real change.
It’s about hope — believing that a difficult chapter doesn’t have to be the whole story.
And it’s about empowerment — creating space for women to move forward, one step at a time.
The money raised through Ride matters. But the impact goes far beyond the dollars.
Every person who shows up helps us build a stronger community of support around women experiencing homelessness.
That’s why we walk and ride.
