Yesterday, Brynn & Bethany had the opportunity to attend the United Way Maritimes 10th Annual Housing Symposium!

Thank you to all of the speakers who shared their knowledge, experiences, and insights, contributing to such a meaningful day of learning and conversation.

Our team is always grateful for opportunities to listen, learn, and explore how we can continue to grow our work and help create positive change in the housing landscape across our province.

What better way to celebrate Thanksgiving than by saying a big thank you to Papa Joe's for donating Thanksgiving dinners to Blooming House.

It’s small acts of kindness like this that remind our guests they are cared for, that their community is thinking of them, and that they deserve moments of comfort and gratitude, even during the hardest days of their lives.

Thank you, Papa Joe’s, for helping make Thanksgiving a little brighter for the women staying with us. We’re so grateful for community members who continue to show up in meaningful ways!

Ride 2026 was one for the books and this is just a small sample of the energy that was there!

We can’t wait to share the official event photography with you but in the meantime we want to say some special thank yous to 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗲 | PEI Creator for coming out to MC our send off!

To Matt at Mobile Bicycle Services (MBS) for tuning up our participants and helping everyone head out safely!

To the Parkdale Sherwood Lions Club for bbq’ing and to Morell Co-op for graciously donating the hotdogs and buns!

To Isabel & her team at Cooperators Delaney Financial for making sure our rest stops are well stocked!

To Canadian Tire Charlottetown for ensuring everyone has lots of water!

And to Reanne with Endora Arts for sharing her incredible talent through face painting!

What a day! We reached our goal of $45,000 BUT we think you can do better and surpass last year’s fundraising dollars of $50,197!

Fundraising is open until the end of the month and we’re only $736 away from beating it!

October has shown its true colours today! A cool breeze has settled in, and the need for a few extra layers is becoming very clear.

Our October Needs List includes a mix of household items and clothing needs. While we always love supporting local, we know budgets are tight — and we also know some of you may want to take advantage of Amazon Prime deals this week.

We’ve updated our Wish List with items we were able to find on sale. If you spot another option for less, please let us know! Every dollar saved means more support can go toward where it’s needed most.

Want to donate items directly? Comment DROP below and we’ll send you the drop-off details.

Thanks for coming out Amir Zuccolo for Mayor of Charlottetown 🤍

It was a great day to be out with the Community Sector Network of PEI team to support Blooming House's Ride for Refuge! Blooming House was founded by two inspiring women, Brynn Devine and Liz Corney, with the primary goal of providing safe overnight shelter for women in the Charlottetown area.
