PEI 4 Palestine. BIPOC USHR

This screening is part of a monthly series of community gatherings designed to shine a light on the Palestinian people's struggles and joys, showcase their resilience, and highlight the injustices of the ongoing "Israeli" occupation. Through film screening, art, and community, participants of all ages will learn about the realities faced by Palestinians while celebrating their rich culture, history, and unwavering sumud (resilience and steadfastness).
Bring a friend or a family member and Join us in amplifying Palestinian voices and standing in solidarity for justice and freedom for all!

Synopsis: The Occupation of the American Mind (50 minutes)
Israel's military occupation of Palestinian land and its ongoing genocide has triggered a fierce backlash against Israeli policies virtually everywhere in the world — except the United States. This documentary takes an eye-opening look at this critical exception, zeroing in on pro-Israel public relations efforts within the U.S.
The film explores how the Israeli government, the U.S. government, and the pro-Israel lobby have joined forces, often with very different motives, to shape American media coverage in Israel's favour. It provides a wide-ranging analysis of Israel's decades-long battle for the hearts, minds, and tax dollars of the American people.
