Registration Update:

For those still waiting on a registration confirmation, we are currently working through registrations and hope to have all confirmations sent out by early next week. Thank you for your patience!

If you are planning to register and haven't done so yet, we ask that you do so no later than Friday, August 28th.

SAVE THE DATE — ACDA ANNUAL DANCEWEAR SWAP & SALE!

Saturday, September 12
9:00am–12:00pm
Classroom 1018, adjacent to the Dance Studio, Keating Centre

Our annual Dancewear & Shoe Swap and Sale is a great opportunity to find gently used dancewear and shoes for the upcoming season, or pass along items your dancer has outgrown!

Bring gently used dance shoes or dancewear on the morning of the sale beginning at 8:30am. Please place items in a clear plastic bag along with an envelope marked with your name, phone number, item size, and asking price.

Natalie DeCoste from Solo Dance Supply will also be there with dancewear on-site, fitting dancers for proper footwear and attire.

Registration is NOW OPEN for ACDA’s 2026–2027 dance season!

This is an especially exciting season as Antigonish Creative Dance Association celebrates 50 years!

Classes begin Monday, September 14. Each class is scheduled for 10 classes during the Fall Term.

We encourage families to register by August 28 to help us finalize class numbers and placements. Many of our classes fill quickly, so we recommend registering as soon as possible. Registrations received after August 28 will be accepted based on availability.

Many of our classes build on skills learned in previous years, so choosing the appropriate level is important. If you're unsure which class to choose, or if you're interested in a class not listed, please reach out.

Please note that our schedule is subject to change based on registration numbers and scheduling needs. We do our best to keep the schedule as posted while making sure classes work well for our dancers, families, and instructors.

Another incredible week of dance camp is in the books!

What a fun-filled week of dancing, creating, laughing, and making memories together. We tried new dance styles, created our own choreography, made new friends, and had lots of fun along the way.

We wrapped up the week with a special performance for our families, and we couldn’t be more proud of all our dancers!

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the studio when classes begin September 14. See you soon! 💃

What an amazing first week of Dance Camp!

From trying new dance styles and making fun crafts to playing games and making new friends, it was a week full of smiles, creativity, and lots of dancing.

Thank you to our wonderful dancers and families for a great week, we had so much fun!

As we wrap up another dance season, we want to extend our thanks to the generous donors who supported ACDA during our recital season.

As a non-profit organization, community support plays an important role in helping keep dance accessible and affordable for our dance families.

📸 Picture Pick-Up Reminder!

Pictures will be available for pick-up outside the Keating Centre Dance Studio on:

• Wednesday, May 27 — 3:00–5:30pm
• Thursday, May 28 — 3:00–5:30pm
• Saturday — 9:00–11:00am

If you are unable to make any of these times, please arrange for someone else to pick up your dancer’s photos.

🩰 Dancewear & Costume Return

A dropbox is now available outside the Keating Centre Dance Studio for any dancewear or costumes your dancer may have taken home.

Please see the recent email sent to families for washing/laundry instructions before returning items. If you are unable to wash items, we would still prefer they are returned this week — just include a note letting us know they were not washed.
