For now we will be doing the program outdoors each week @ 10am at Columbus Field. Please see poster for the complete details. FYI

Our β€œHealthy Moms Healthy Babies” baby group is getting a name change. Because the definition of family has changed so much over the years, we would like to ensure that we are being inclusive to all forms of families in our community, and helping all families feel welcome. As we know, it’s not always a mom & dad raising a family, it can be a grandmother, an uncle, an aunt, 2 dad families, 2 moms families, single dad families, transgender families, binary families, etc... So the new name for our baby group will now simply be β€œBaby & Me”.

With that being said, the group will be open to all gender identities (ie: male, female, transgender, binary, gender-neutral, etc...) who are the primary caregivers for the baby or are going to be the primary care givers. The group will still be limited to one person from each family attending (not both partners), as space will be limited. πŸ’—

A HOMETOWN CHRISTMASπŸŽ„

STORYBOOK WALKS πŸ“š

Our storybook walks are a fun way for you and your family to get outdoors and enjoy reading a Christmas themed book along your journey. Visit one of all of the locations to find a different Christmas story!

The locations to find each story are:
The Landing (Beginning at the Adam Street Entrance)
Columbus Field
Beaver Mountain Park
Keppoch Mountain (along the Accessible Trail)

This event is in partnership with The People's Place: Antigonish Town and County Library! These storybook walks will be up until December 24 for you to enjoy! Special thank you to Here's Your Signs, Special Occasions, U-Haul and Avis/Budget for bringing these stories to life and sponsoring this event!

We have been dealing with high winds - so if you notice a sign has fallen or a page is missing, please message the Town or Municipality of the County of Antigonish for repairs.
