🌟 Remember. Reflect. Connect. 🌟
November 19, 2024, marks National Grief and Bereavement Day—a day to honour, support, and create meaningful connections in the face of loss.

Grief can sometimes make us hesitant to reach out, whether we are the ones grieving or supporting someone who is. It’s okay to feel unsure about what to say or do. Today, let’s take a moment to reflect and actively reach out to those in our lives who are on their grief journey.

Together, we can foster understanding, empathy, and healing. 💜

Some more amazing good news to share for this Friday morning. Please join me in thanking the following amazing local businesses for their donation and support to not only our cause for the Palliative Care but for the Food Bank.

The MacLeod Group, Antigonish Optical, MacDonald Chrysler, James C. MacIntosh, MacInnis Barber Shop and R MacLean Forestry Ltd have graciously purchased a poultry box and donated it back to our local Antigonish Food Bank.

Thanks to these donations, the food bank will receive 60 delicious chickens and 12 turkeys to distribute towards deserving families within our community. Please tank a min to thank these amazing folks for their generousity.

For those customers that are new to us….did you know that by purchasing an order, not only are you supporting our Palliative Care Society but you are also entered in for a prize.

The support we receive from our customers as well as those amazing local businesses that support us by donating a prize that we can give away for our lucky customers. Soon we will begin making daily posts acknowledging those amazing businesses and the prizes they generously donated.

If you are a local business and would like to show support by donating a prize, please send us a PM and I can have one of our volunteers reach out. Last year we handed out over $3000 worth of prizes and I think this year will be bigger!! Keep those orders coming!! We are still accepting orders and payments due on the 23rd.
