Today was the finale of our 4-H session Learn to Fly Fish: fly tying, fly casting and on the water fly fishing. Thank you to the 4-H leaders and parents who came out today to join the ARA volunteers. There were fish caught and released, lots of action and good times.

Thank you to all of the folks who turned out for the Family Fishing Event today. Seeing so many young (and not so young ) people enjoying the fishing experience at the Cameron Lake Accessible Site was great. The weather was fantastic and thanks to the folks at Fraser's Mills Hatchery there were lots of fish being caught. We also had visits from the resident bald eagles and loons. Special thanks to V & A Bass Fishing Gear local makers of quality fishing gear for their generous donation of fishing lures and tackle, Fraser's Mill's Hatchery for the BBQ, East Coast Credit Union Antigonish, The Water Villa and Atlantic Superstore Antigonish.
Thank you to the great volunteers who make the ARA a special group.
