SAVE THE DATE 🎉 WE’RE COMING TO AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺🇹🇿

Introducing… An Evening with Inuka!

On Tuesday 1 September, we’ll be taking over the Canva Space in Surry Hills for a very special night bringing together the Inuka community, new faces and our visitors from Tanzania.

You’ll get to hear directly from our teachers and students, learn more about the work happening in Tanzania, meet the people behind Inuka and hear about where we’re hoping to take this little organisation next.

If you’ve donated, climbed, attended an event, sponsored a student, shared our work, volunteered with us or simply followed along over the years, this is your chance to meet some of the people on the other side of that support.

And if you’re completely new to Inuka, we would LOVE to introduce you 🫶🏼 See you there!!

And just like that, our first Inuka pickleball event is done!

We got a moving, met some new people, had a laugh and spent a morning together.

But this is only the beginning.

We want to keep creating opportunities for our community here to connect, try new things and enjoy being part of something together, while also contributing to our projects in Tanzania.

Thanks to everyone who came along and helped make the first one what it was 🤍

More to come.

Thank you Broadwaypickleballau

2026 vs. 2025

The sports field Inuka • • • Rise Up built with Zuma Ephrem Mtui has become such an important space for the students (and teachers🤸🏽‍♂️) to come together and share their love of playing sport!

You can really see the difference in the first and second video of just how much the grounds have improved. We’ve moved from rubble to grass, secure fencing and trees that will one day provide much-needed shade.

It’s easy to think of a sports field as just somewhere to play, but it’s so much more than that. Access to sport gives young people the opportunity to build confidence, develop teamwork and leadership skills and strengthen both their physical and mental wellbeing. Research consistently shows that regular physical activity supports children’s cognitive development, concentration and learning in the classroom, making spaces like this an investment in education as much as they are an investment in play.

For many schools in Tanzania, facilities like this simply don’t exist. Seeing hundreds of students use this field has been one of the most rewarding parts of this project. It’s become a place where the whole school community comes together.

Next step, to build washrooms for the students. This is already in progress and something we look forward to collaborating with CHETI NGO on.

A huge thank you to everyone who has made this possible 🙏🏼 The joy the students experience because of access to this is indescribable and we are so grateful to you for helping us with this project 💛🌍🐝

What’s Your Climb? 2026 is officially wrapped.

When we first came up with the idea for this campaign, I don’t think any of us imagined it would become Inuka’s largest fundraiser to date. Over the month of June we’ve watched people from around the world choose to challenge themselves for something bigger than themselves. Whether that meant running, hiking, carrying jerry cans, giving up coffee, spending time in silence or creating a challenge of their own, every person showed up with the same goal: to help bring safe water and greater opportunities to communities in Tanzania.

Together, we raised more than $19,000!!!

This was also Inuka’s first ever global fundraising campaign. We had participants from across Australia, Europe, the US AND UK. Watching our community grow beyond borders has been incredibly special and a reminder that meaningful change can start anywhere.

Because of you, we can:

• Install water tanks, guttering and filtration systems in our schools.

• Launch our first Period Dignity Project.

• Build Inuka’s very first school library.

These aren’t just projects. They are investments in the future of our students and communities that will continue making a tangible difference for years to come.

To everyone who signed up, donated, shared a post, sponsored a participant, volunteered behind the scenes or simply cheered us on, thank you 🙏🏼 Every contribution mattered and every act of support helped make this campaign what it became.

I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved together, incredibly grateful to everyone who was part of WYC? 2026 and even more excited about what comes next 🥳

We’re only just getting started 🇹🇿🤞🏼

Less than 3 days until EOFY!! 📣

If you’ve been thinking about supporting a cause this financial year, now is the time.

As an ACNC registered charity with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, every donation of $2 or more to Inuka is tax deductible.

But more importantly, your donation helps create tangible change.

Every contribution helps us continue delivering safe water, period dignity, education and community-led initiatives alongside our partners in Tanzania. It helps children spend more time learning instead of collecting water. It helps girls stay in school. It helps communities lead their own future.

Our What’s Your Climb? campaign is about recognising that we all have the ability to take one more step for someone else.

If Inuka’s mission has ever resonated with you, we’d be incredibly grateful if you considered making an EOFY donation before 30 June.

Together, we’re building stronger communities, one step at a time. It’s time to be part of something bigger than yourself 🫶🏼

What’s Your Climb? starts tomorrow and these are just some of the incredible challenges our community is taking on over the next 30 days.

From walking and running challenges to reading goals, fitness milestones and giving up everyday habits, each person has chosen their own climb and committed to using it to create positive change.

That is what What’s Your Climb? is all about.

It’s about challenging ourselves in a way that feels meaningful to us while helping create opportunities for others. Every dollar raised this year will support safe water in schools, period dignity initiatives and the construction of Inuka’s first school library in Tanzania.

The small changes we make in our own lives can have a lasting impact on someone else’s 🌍

If you’re feeling inspired, it’s not too late to sign up and join us 📣 Link in bio!

And if taking on a challenge isn’t for you this year, please consider making a donation instead. As we approach EOFY, all donations over $2 are tax deductible!

Thank you to everyone who has already signed up, donated, shared the campaign or cheered someone on. We can’t wait to see what this community achieves over the next month 🤍
