🎉 Our highest fundraising team – Team Lardee Da – loved being back for The May 50K 2025! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💪
Faithfully led by team captains and The May 50K Ambassadors, Danni and Scott, Team Lardee Da are a dedicated group of people across Australia who are passionate about raising funds and awareness for MS research.
The team was created back in 2019 by Danni in support of her husband Scott, who is living with primary progressive multiple sclerosis (PPMS). This was their 6th year taking part and they are already looking forward to 2026!
They have a message for everyone who took part this year:
"Let's continue to join together and help find a cure for our loved ones. Stay strong, keep pushing and we will see you back same time next year!" 🌟

🌍 Today is World MS Day, and we’re in the final stretch of The May 50K!
Once again, this year's theme is 'Diagnosis' which advocates for early and accurate diagnosis for everyone living with multiple sclerosis.
As we complete our 50km challenge to raise funds for MS research, we’re moving not just for a cure, but for faster, fairer diagnoses and better outcomes for all.

Meet Beth - runner extraordinaire! 👟🌟
Beth was initially told she wouldn't ever be able to run more than 5kms due to her MS. But now Beth has completed 5kms, 10kms, and even half marathons! More recently she completed a half marathon at 26 weeks pregnant! 🏃‍♀️💪
Beth is an absolute superstar and she is ready to leave her limits behind again for her 2nd year! 🔥

Meet Jax!
Back for her in The May 50K, Jax is showing everyone that MS can look different on everyone!
When she was first diagnosed at 22-years-old, Jax felt frightened and confused about how MS would affect her future. 7 years on and Jax is completing Hyrox competitions and running marathons! 💪🏃‍♀️
"My symptoms are incredibly minimal and definitely not as scary as I’d once thought my life would be! I love sharing my active life with MS, and hope to use my platform to spread awareness, raise funds and have fun while doing it.”
