💔 We’re deeply saddened by the tragic deaths of a tourist and an elephant at an elephant camp in India.

The tourist was fatally injured when Marthanda the elephant fell on her while being attacked by another elephant at a bathing activity. This heartbreaking incident highlights the serious risks of keeping elephants in captivity for entertainment.

Our team in India has called on authorities to strictly monitor close interactions and end elephant rides and entertainment.
