FORMAL NOTICE 2026 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the AGM for RISE Coffs Inc. will be held on the following date:

Date: Thursday, 29 January, 2026
Time: 6:00 pm
Venue: Key Employment Youth Hub
Address: 61 West High St, Coffs Harbour, 2450
Submit Motions: Items for Agenda are due by Friday 23, January, 5pm.

Attendance and voting rights are limited to financial (paid-up) members of RISE Coffs Inc. who are aged 18 years or over, in accordance with the constitution.

Members are strongly encouraged to attend and participate in this meeting, as decisions made will directly impact the governance, sustainability and delivery of RISE Coffs’ youth wellbeing programs.

OFFICIAL LAUNCH | RISE Empowered Female Football Program

Thursday night marked a defining moment for young women in sport — the official launch of the RISE Empowered Female Football Program.

More than 100 community members gathered to welcome the new Empowered Ambassador and Matilda, Jo Powell, alongside local police, business leaders, families and the inspiring players who are ready to change the game.

This wasn’t just a launch. It was a declaration: girls in regional NSW deserve equality — in opportunity, investment and belief.

Jo Powell’s Message: Believe Big

Jo Powell electrified the room with a message that captured the heart of RISE:
“Believe in yourself and never let anyone ever tell you that you cannot achieve your goals.”
“There are no barriers big enough to stop you if you believe in yourself."

Her words reflect the program’s mission — ensuring no girl’s dreams are limited by geography or circumstance.

Mayor Nikki Williams: Strength & Belonging
Mayor Nikki Williams honoured the courage of the players, reminding them:
“This program is not just about soccer. It’s about who you are becoming… You each deserve to be here. Set your goals high — your future is full of possibility.”
Her message reinforced that RISE is more than sport — it’s leadership, community and empowerment.

RISE Empowered is committed to providing:
✔ Skill-building opportunities
✔ Pathways for regional talent
✔ A safe, supportive space to grow confidence
✔ A community that champions girls’ dreams

Every girl deserves the chance to shine.
