Could you be eligible for discounted transport? If you’re 65 or over, or 50 or over and Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, you may be eligible for discounted transport through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP). CHSP can help cover the cost of transport if you don’t receive a Home Care or Aged Care Package. To access the program, you’ll need to register with My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 or through myagedcare.gov.au. Not sure where to start? Give our friendly team a call on 1300 812 504 on the Mid North Coast or 1300 875 895 on the Far North Coast.
