💛 $25 can provide an essential grocery shop for an individual.

💛 $50 can provide an essential grocery shop for a family.

Recently, we met a young grandmother whose life changed overnight when she unexpectedly became the primary carer for her granddaughter.

It wasn't something she had planned for, and suddenly she found herself navigating new responsibilities and expenses she simply wasn't prepared for.

When she reached out to LifeHouse Care, we were able to help with food staples and baby essentials while she adjusted to her new circumstances.

Stories like this remind us that hardship doesn't always come with warning. Sometimes all it takes is one unexpected life event for someone to need a helping hand.

As EOFY approaches, there's still time to support local individuals and families facing difficult seasons.

Every donation helps provide practical support, dignity and hope right here in our community.

The BBQ is firing, the coffee machine is on, the rain is gone, and we are so excited to walk the beautiful Jetty Foreshore with you this morning ☀️🌊

A quick reminder to make your way to the Registration / Check-In area when you arrive to collect your LifeWalk armband and any pre-purchased tees.

☕ Coffee, bacon & egg rolls, drinks and LifeHouse Care tees will all be available this morning, with proceeds helping support local people doing it tough through the work of LifeHouse Care.

A quick reminder for everyone joining us:
🎟️ Please head to the Registration / Sign-In area when you arrive to collect your LifeWalk armband and pre-purchased tees.

☕ Coffee, breakfast, drinks and LifeHouse Care tees will also be available for purchase on the day, with all proceeds supporting local people doing it tough through the work of LifeHouse Care.

Some will walk with friends.
Some with family.
Some with work teams.
Some simply wanting to support a good cause and enjoy a beautiful morning by the marina.

Together, every step helps provide practical care and support for local people facing hardship, crisis and uncertainty.

For 30 years, LifeHouse Care has had the privilege of walking alongside our community — and tomorrow we get to do that together once again.

Looks like we’ve ordered pretty good walking weather 🌤️💛

Only 2 more sleeps until LifeWalk 2026.

This Saturday morning we’ll be gathering at Jetty Reserve for coffee, breakfast, music, community vibes and a beautiful walk along the North Wall — all while raising support for local people doing it tough.

✔️ Accessible sealed pathway
✔️ Start & finish in the same location
✔️ Families, prams & dogs welcome
✔️ Coffee & bacon & egg rolls from 7am

And if you can’t make the walk itself, you can still support LifeWalk through donations, breakfast purchases or simply sharing the event with friends.

We would love to say a huge welcome 🤗 to the newest member of our team, Cathy!

Cathy is stepping into our Op Shop Leader role, overseeing all six of our LifeHouse Care Op Shop locations. She brings a wealth of retail knowledge and experience, along with a passion for seeing our op shops thrive, and most importantly, seeing our communities flourish!

We want our spaces to always be places full of joy, kindness and compassion and Cathy has these by the bucketful 🪣 ❤️

We couldn’t be more excited to have you with us, Cathy! 💛
