Waratah had the honor of hosting a high tea in celebration of all the carers in our Waratah community.
National Carers Week aims to recognize over 3 million unpaid carers across Australia.
"Care for a carer: Making carers visible" was this year's theme.
Over 3 million Australians (including nearly 1 million in NSW and over 750,000 in Victoria) provide unpaid care due to disability, chronic illness, mental health, or age-related needs.
We see you and We thank you for the remarkable job you do every minute of every day ###
We wanted to create a moment for our carers to pamper themselves so we put together a few Hampers and put all the Waratah carers names from the Day program, Cottage and Seagulls, our lucky winners were
